61 year old Maria Rosaria Veneruso becomes a mummy for the first time after giving birth to a bouncing baby boy .The new mother and  her husband welcomed their first child at the age of 61. The Italian woman gave birth to a healthy boy on Monday afternoon after a "normal and peaceful" pregnancy

Ms Veneruso and her husband Enzo were delighted with their new arrival, who they named Elia Francesco. Their bundle of joy weighed 3.5 kilograms (7lb 7oz)
