NDLEA has arrested two drug barons in Cross Rivers, after they were caught with drugs worth N2.5bn which they concealed in provision packs like golden morn,semovita and several others.The culprits are Azuka Emmanuel, 55, and Ndubuisi Okafor, 23.They were intercepted in a commercial bus, along Yahe—Ikom Trans International Highway for possessing 76.050 kilograms of Methamphetamine and 100.1 kilogramme of Ephedrine worth N2.5 billion.
Operatives who were positioned for stop and search recovered the concealed synthetic drugs in Golden Morn cereal packs while the Ephedrine was found inside Semovita packs and five industrial fillers.Photos below
